This Privacy Policy explains how the Prayer Journal App ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We have built the App to be private by design: your prayers, journal entries, reflections, and progress stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Your prayers, prayer requests, answered prayers, journal entries, gratitude notes, streaks, badges, reminder settings, and other content you create are stored locally on your device only (using Apple's on-device storage). We cannot see, access, or collect this content. It is removed if you delete the App.
The App offers an auto-renewing subscription. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store your payment details.
To manage your subscription status (for example, to know whether your free trial or plan is active and to restore purchases), we use RevenueCat, Inc., a subscription management service. RevenueCat processes purchase information and a randomly generated, app-specific identifier, along with basic device and app information needed to deliver this feature. It does not receive your prayers or journal content. You can review RevenueCat's privacy practices at revenuecat.com/privacy, and Apple's at apple.com/legal/privacy.
If you turn on daily reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on your device and are not sent through us or any server.
If you email us (for example, using the in-app "Share an idea" option), your message will open in your own mail app and be sent to our support address. We will then have whatever information you include in that email, and we use it only to respond to you.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your content lives on your device, you are in control of it. You can delete individual entries within the App, or remove all App data by deleting the App from your device. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings under your Apple Account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
